Sne from South Africa joined us in 2019 for our Culinary Arts Degree Program. She also participated in our Intensive Spanish Program in preparation for the cooking courses. Here is her story…
I currently have a career in the banking industry where I have shown my skills in client service and team work under pressure. However, in my free time my passion has always been food. I am looking forward to having the academic skill set in gastronomy to pursue my culinary endeavors. The combination of my skills in client service and my passion for the food industry will be the starting block for me to excel in my dream career.
I also have exposure to a globalized world having worked for a shipping company with international stakeholders and currently working for a British bank while living in South Africa. I also have lived in a foreign environment, living in Hong Kong for a year. This was an eye opening experience and an opportunity I saw for growth.
I look forward to being a trailblazer in the South African culinary industry whilst imparting my knowledge and developing other people. I look forward to starting this journey to change my life and the lives of others.
