Juana Molina is a Buenos Aires born musician who got her start on a sketch comedy show called Juana y Sus Hermanas. Daughter of Tango singer, Horacio Molina, Juana got an early start learning how to play acoustic guitar. Her ¨folktronica¨ sound was born after she moved to Los Angeles and began using electronic instruments. She has since returned to Buenos Aires but is internationally known and tours all around the world. If you have the chance to see her live, do it. Watching her process of looping sound on top of sound is like watching someone build a house of cards. It is just lovely.
