Mente Argentina Intensive Spanish Program in Buenos Aires

There are countless professional, personal and academic reasons to learn a new language, especially in this ever more connected world that we live in. As the fourth most spoken language in the world, Spanish is at the top of the list of languages to learn for many. Mente Argentina’s Intensive Spanish Program is perfect for those who really want to learn Spanish with a practical day-to day approach.

Our Intensive Spanish courses begin every Monday of the year and teach you the practical language tools that you need as you explore Buenos Aires. The focus isn’t on you increasing your standardized academic level but rather helping you build the specific language skills that you seek. For beginners it means the daily victories of ordering lunch or asking for directions and for more advanced students it might mean discussing local politics with your taxi driver or comparing music tastes with the bartender at your new favorite spot.

For this program there are a few different class options, all with small class sizes and individualized learning plans. The intensive course is the most popular with classes every morning Monday-Friday and a total of 20 hours per week. There is also less-intense afternoon option which is just 3 days a week and a total of 9 weekly hours. We also offer private classes that can be arranged to work with your schedule and catered specifically to your academic needs. These program options are especially popular for those combining with our other programs. We also offer online classes for those who cannot join us physically in Buenos Aires or those who study a bit before travelling to join us in person.

Beyond your personal exploration of Buenos Aires and any travels around Argentina, Mente Argentina offers several weekly activities to take your learning outside of the classroom. These activities also connect you with the rest of your Mente family, both staff and fellow participants, as you explore the city together. During these outings, 2-3 times per week, we show you our favorite brunch spots, happy hours, theaters, museums, parks and so much more. Check out the Mente Instagram for lots of photos.
